Detachable Top Mount Base - 29, Gloss Black Manufacture ID: 48029 Nobody makes bases to fit as many guns as Weaver. Yet each base is machined to tight tolerances for a custom fit. They're designed to fight the effects of recoil with a square-cut notch that precisely mates to the sturdy cross bolt in every Weaver Detachable Ring. Custom-hardened fastening screws come with every Weaver base. Use as Front base on: - Browning: 1895 High Wall (octagon bbl.)*+ Use as Rear base on: - Marlin 39 A round bbl. ++ *Shimming may be required for proper scope alignment +Front base may require modification for correct fit ++Drilling and tapping required. Rear base is positioned on top of receiver and front base is positioned on the barrel Warranty: Weaver’s Limited Lifetime Warranty: Blount warrants Weaver products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for as long as it is owned by its original owner.
